History
The journal was established in 2017 with the name Elite Journal. The name was changed in the year 2019 with the name Gidanwaya Journal of Education (GIJOE) a name which subsists till date. A website was created for the journal in the year 2022 leading to the current web address created in 2025.
Publication Information
The journal is published by the Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union( COEASU) and managed by a dedicated Editorial Board.
